Piedmont Park

Many of you know I have moved from my beloved east bay for a new adventure on the Peninsula. This move meant having to leave behind many of my old and trustworthy shooting site. Somehow the planets alligned and I got to spend the entire day shooting at one of my all time favorites, Piedmont Park. I have a rule I pretty much stick to with my photo shoots, I must try at least one new thing for each shoot. I was a little nervous since I have shot here countless times. What was I going to find new to shoot? I arrived a half hour early and someone must have been VERY happy with me. I scouted the location as usual but my assistant and I got lost in conversation and turned in a direction I had never gone before. There it was all that was missing was an orchestra and few ethereal angels floating about. A small creek with gorgeous green background meandered around gorgeous rocks. The sun filtered golden and direct. Seriously no flash or outside light source was used to get this image. I love my job but on this day with two fabulous children and three witty and wonderful women and of course the perfect creek I LOVED my job!
